Take a walk around Big Spring International Park, right in the heart of downtown. It’s a beautiful place to stroll, grab coffee nearby, and enjoy views of the water and the city.
U.S. SPACE & ROCKET CENTER
One of Huntsville’s most famous attractions, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center showcases the city’s role in the space program and has incredible exhibits (and actual rockets).
LOWE MILL ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Visit Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, a historic textile mill turned arts center filled with local artist studios, coffee shops, and unique shops.
CAMPUS NO. 805
Grab a drink or a bite to eat at Campus No. 805, a former middle school that’s been transformed into breweries, restaurants, and entertainment spaces.
MONTE SANO STATE PARK
If you want a little fresh air, head up to Monte Sano State Park for beautiful views of the city and great hiking trails.
EARLYWORKS CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
Fun if you have little ones in tow, interactive exhibits about Alabama history and life in the past.

MC and Ted’s Favorite Spots
Honest Coffee Roasters – Ted and MC like to share an açaí bowl and breakfast burrito here (make sure to ask for sour cream AND salsa.)
Canadian Bakin – Known for amazing bagels and breakfast sandwiches, sure to cure any hangover.
Commerce Kitchen – A downtown staple and Carolyn’s (mother of the bride) favorite spot. Known for a great Southern-style brunch and breakfast.
Blue Plate Cafe – Classic Southern breakfast (think biscuits, gravy, pancakes.) Great if you want a classic diner-style meal.
L’Etoile Patisserie – A charming French-style bakery with authentic pastries, breads, and a cozy café feel.
BREAKFAST
Taco Mama (Downtown) – A go-to for quick, casual tacos and amazing margarita flavors. Great downtown option for an easy lunch.
Little Rosie’s Cantina – Super fun, laid-back Tex-Mex spot with fresh tortillas and classic favorites. This is a cult Huntsville favorite.
Moe’s Original BBQ – Delicious Southern BBQ, perfect if you’re craving something hearty. Make sure to grab a boozy “bushwacker” while you’re there.
Straight to Ale – Local brewery with great food and a fun atmosphere.
Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro – A fully gluten-free spot with amazing sandwiches, brunch, and baked goods.
Dallas Mill Deli – Casual deli with great sandwiches and soups. Simple, quick, and really good.

Domaine South – Ted and MC’s favorite date night spot. Be sure to try the deviled eggs and peanut butter pie.
Cotton Row – One of Huntsville’s classic upscale restaurants in the heart of downtown.

Mazzara's Vinoteca – Delicious Italian dishes and a great atmosphere located in a historic home downtown.
Del Chuco – A local favorite for incredible tacos and authentic Mexican food. Make sure to pop into the underground bar afterwards.
Purveyor – A great option for a nicer dinner with a seasonal menu and elevated Southern flavors.

Baker & Able – A rooftop bar with great views of the city and craft cocktails.
Chuco Underground – A fun underground bar with a lively atmosphere.
Catacomb 435 – A hidden speakeasy-style cocktail bar tucked away downtown.
Green Bus Brewing – Coffee in the morning turned brewery in the afternoon. MC took Ted, Thompson, and Will here during their first trip to Huntsville.
Straight to Ale – A local brewery with a big space, good drinks, and a fun, casual atmosphere.
The Camp – Outdoor bar with live music, food trucks, and a super laid-back vibe.
